Nothing common about this canvas... Perfect top side view. Love the BG too. Absolutely no nits here. TFS

New views of common birds are never boring. I like this one a lot!
The pattern of the grass in the background makes for an interesting photo. I might be inclined to clone the dark part precisely below the bird to match the rest of the BG better. The sharpness seems bang on the head, really nice details on the whole bird! Great pose and eye contact.
The light is a bit harsh, but I think it works! Might darken the top of the wings and the whites a bit more. There is a distinct line from your postprocessing on both wing tips, easy fix. Otherwise, very good job on this one!

    Dan:
I have always liked the subtle texture/patterns of the female mallards, so happy to see one so well displayed. Do agree with Ivan's comments re: the lightness of the wings. I would also prefer a bit more room in front of the bird if available.

    Cheers

I really like the image - just a tad bright for me, pulling down the highlights just a fraction in curves makes it pop nicely.

A commoner but a beautiful frame of one. Love the pose and that green background. Maybe a touch more room all around this is nice tough.
