Thank God ducks are so slow. Another boring duck and a hen yet. Actually, this is spectacular. Especially considering that you used a lousy combination for flight ... What happened to your D5?

Very impressive Arash! I have not seen many good photos of female Pintails so this is really unique. The wing position is spot on. Great color on that clean ocean background and super details on the bird.
Can't really find anything to improve.

Not sure I have ever seen a female flight photo...
That is a ton of detail, nice.

    Arash:

Great full down wing position, catch light, slight angle towards us.

How do you find the autofocus on the 500 PF?

    Cheers

    Hi Arash,
awesome capture indeed. When you use your 1.4 then you shoot at f8 with this great lens, correct? I'm confused by your EXIF data... Just read through your review, thank you well done.

Looks spot on. The blue background is great. Really like the downstroke wing position.

Arash great frame but Anne is right. It cant be at 5.6 if you have the 1.4 on on the 500PF. You referred Randy to your Review but in that Review there are has 6 mistakes in the eleven or so frames you have shown on this matter that Anne has raised. You might like to check them .Either the lovely examples you have shown are at 500 mm at 5.6 or they are at 700 mm equivalent at f8. But the say they are taken with the PF plus the 1.4 at 5.6..
