I captured this image along Joe Overstreet Road in Kenansville, Florida. The doves are the most skittish birds, probably because they are still hunted. I rolled up on this one with the car and got off three frames before it took flight. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

P.S. I know the perch is barbed wire, it is common for some parts of central Florida and the birds love it. Choosing it over natural perches.

Love the composition, BG, colors and details. Face could use additional sharpening. TFS

Nice pose on the bird. I really like the barb wire perch. It's something different. The background is great.

Considering how common this species is it is amazing how hard it is to get a good image of them. This one is quite excellent. A contrast mask on the face would help.
