Default Marbled Godwit - was it worth losing my wedding ring......?

Vaguely remember seeing the band on my hand when I grabbed my rig yesterday late afternoon, but it was gone by the time I sat down at the compute this morning. Ugh.

At least it was a cheap ($150), relatively. Will miss the engraving the most.......

Photo is terrific, a bit of noise on the wings but minor..
Sorry about the ring, a mystery, hope it turns up.

Now you need to scan every Ring-billed Gull or Ring-necked Duck I guess! The image is beautiful, only a higher near wing position would have made it better, but it is still fine as is.

Perfect flight angle, lovely colours and a great background make this a super image. Hope the ring turns up for you.

Superb as noted by Dan missing only a raised near-wing.

Looks very good. The light is nice. Also like the pose. Nice background.

This is spectacular Dorian! The soft light with that light blue against the warmer colors of the Godwit really is a good combination. Great head angle, exposure and comp too. As mentioned a raised near-wing would have been nice but I think it works as is.
Is this a big crop? I ask because of the hint of noise on the bird. I hope you find your wedding ring!!
