I love the sharpness, exposure, and colours. Perfect comp too. Would you have been able to move a bit (right and down) to fully hide the pale area of the BG behind the heron's head?
The lighting, color, and sharpness are all fantastic! This is a really beautiful headshot. However, the white spots behind are deadly for me. I need need headshots to be super clean to fully connect. Whites also look a bit grayed, but that's an easy fix.
Pretty darned good but I am with D & D: the white halo behind the head is an image killer.
