    Pure Power

    was shooting away from this thing, for sunset but its presence could not be ignored. I love the winds that whip up before a storm, but they actually were about to tip my tripod at one point.

    This is 2 shots merged at 10mm, my jeep just a dot on the horizon.

    What a rush that must have been! I have had it in the back of my mind to do a storm chaser trip one of these days.

    Anita, yes this was in the Everglades.

    George, a definite rush. I love the summer storms, they also bring in these nice cool breezes to break the heat while you photograph them.
