Great Egret with food

Not sure what the food item is. He had dug it out of the muck and was prancing around to elude some chasers. I cloned out several oof ibis photobombers. From Bunche Beach several weeks ago, half-hour after sunrise.

D500, Sigma 150-600 C @ 600mm, ISO 1250, 1/2500s @ f/6.3.

Nice view of this egret and in nice light. The prey is interesting maybe somebody will be able to identify it. Like the pose.

Baby blowfish. Spectacular image. Love the light and the bird's head set against the mud bar. And right on sun angle.
