This gorgeous Leopard was out on an early morning stroll, using the sand tracks to conceal and mask any movement. I left the tyre tracks in, pointless to try and mask them.

Wow Steve, this is a surprise - awesome sighting Excellent portrayal of this stunning male leopard, BTW he is in such great shape.

I like the POV here and your choice of DoF works so well. Beautiful colours, very natural, nice BG too. Don't mind the tracks, they are barely there. Composition is great with no distracting elements in the frame.

Always hard to find fault with your images Processing is superb and image overall very aesthetically pleasing. Great detail on the subject. There's also an interesting perspective effect with the road pushed into the distance with a precision heightened by the morning light.

    Warmest regards,

    Thanks Gabriela,

I’m still waiting for the shot where the subject is higher than me and I’m looking up slightly.

I will make a plan when you get here next time. What would you like, a lion or a leopard?

Either, I really am not fussy, will leave it with the ‘Whisper’.

The "Whisperer" will fulfil your wish. We might need an exercise mat for you to lie on while the subject is passing by

Not a whole lot wrong with this Steve - excellent colours and exposure, the leopard stand out very well indeed whilst the path/road disappears very pleasingly into the background.

Hi Steve ...yeah a low POV would have been a dream , get that mattress and down on your belly .
Lovely frame of this Leopard , super color/tonal range and the bokeh is priceless good .
Nicely edited as expected .....i would just get rid of that circle in the BG ( lighter patch with a dark circle in the centre ) .
Surprised to see your settings in camera ...

Enjoyed watching this frame , TFS Andreas

Looks nice with the vertical framing and the leopard steeping right into the light. I don't mind the tire tracks.

Hi Steve, excellent light and BG with a good subject! Beautiful colours too. I know a low POV is not always possible but finely seen and executed image. TFS.

Andreas, a lot of 'settings' have changed since this was taken.

What a superb image Steve. I loved the IQ here , what a clean image and loved that light as well. This is a very fine image indeed. tyre tracks are a bit unfortunate but there are other good things in the image which makes me overlook it. You definitely got away with the ss though.

    TFS !
