    This nuthatch appears to be taking a rest after admiring it's handiwork, it had just about finished putting mud around the nest hole.
    Next visit I will take the 2xTC.

    I like this a lot Jon, great natural, woodland setting. I also like the 'scale' too, as it illustrates how small these guys are.

    I would lift the midtones in the tree, and go a tad cooler, it's a bit 'muddy', as the green needs to be more defined in the tree (I think you know where I'm coming from), perhaps a tad off the top?

    I like the concept of bird-in-habitat, but I think the upward shooting angle hurts. Eye level would have helped a lot. I think you could push the color and contrast a bit more as well. Image looks a bit washed out as is.

    Looks like the red-breasted we have over here. Neat to see it by its nest. The knob it is standing on is pretty big. Nothing you can do. Like the concept behind this one.
