    A very nice capture, I like the pose and the colours look beautiful, if the image is cropped I would suggest reducing the crop slightly, it looks good as is but perhaps just a little large in the frame?

    Classic shot for that location! Lighting is great, as is the raised and muddy foot. Legs aren't perfectly sharp which is a bit of a bummer.

    Raised foot is nice. Like the setting the rail is in. Light looks pretty nice.

    Great pose of a bird that's often hard to capture - at least our east coast rails are. Good habitat, with head and raised foot in the clear.
