    Default Ruddy Turnstone

Captured this image in the early evening on Bunche Beach, Florida a little over a week ago. It's proof that the late bird gets the worm as well. Bunche Beach is one of my favorite locations in this part of the world for shore birds. It was interesting to watch the Turnstones pushing over the clumps of sea grasses and kelp, exposing the treats within. Didn't see the theme before posting. Would one of the moderators please indicate Theme. C&C welcome.

Love the low angle, the prey item, the OOF shoreline and of course the colors and detail. TFS

Nice capture! Lovely light, good POV, and the prey is the real bonus.

Like the low angle. The worm is a nice touch. Like the piles of kelp/seaweed. The light looks nice as well.

Ditto the positive comments. The bird does look a little soft to me though. TFS

Love the worm but find the whole frame a bit cluttered. On the other hand this is a pretty accurate view of the weed lines these guys frequent. Agree with other commenters about bird being soft.

Thanks everyone. Paul and Dorian, the sharpness does fade out towards the right half of the bird, but I didn't want to over sharpen the head.
