Black skimmers at the shore last August. Something a bit different for me, hope you like it.

Really like this one. The second skimmer gives this some nice balance. The vertical crop works very well. Like the grasses along the bottom.

This is very nice, it is like minimalist art. The vertical composition and grass at the bottom is great, I'd probably prefer a slightly looser crop, particularly at the top.

Love the composition with the grass as the base. Love the two birds filling the frame with those long wings. Could you lift the whites on the bird at left. The grayish hue tends to blend with BG(which I Love). A beautiful canvas overall. TFS

Very cool Ann. Kind of like a painting. I would lift the exposure a bit and run a little detail extractor on the birds just to give them a tiny bit more punch. Otherwise very pretty and unique.

I love this frame, Ann! Both poses are incredible and work so well together. So lucky none of the wings intersected! Grass is the perfect touch on context as well. Agree a bit more detail could be squeezed from the blacks, but that's pretty minor.

I love the way the birds have composed themselves for you, and the grass is a plus. Makes for a very interesting frame. The suggestions above are worth a try. Such fun to photograph these guys in flight.

The BLACKs look perfect to me (if not a bit too light) and I love, love, love the image.

What a great capture, Ann. Like your crop including the grasses. Lovely defused light.
