    I made this image in Bosque Del Apache NM

    Nikon D500, 500 f/4 + 1.4x TCIII
    1/3200 sec; f/5.6; ISO 800
    Manual; Matrix metering

    Post Processing:-
    Raw processing using C1P
    Cropped in
    Nik 30-30 Filter on the bird

    Would make a nice pano with some off the top. The scattered feathers add to the action. TFS

    Powerful image, pin sharp, technically beautifully executed. I like the way in which the background fades away. I would prefer more of a pano crop.

    Good pose on the bird. Nice and sharp. The prey item is always a bonus.

    The subject is well exposed and detailed, I think the carnage tells the story! I quite like the composition but I have to agree there does appear to be a lot of blue sky.
