    Common Black Drongo

    Experimented with the late afternoon winter light and a very common subject creating a silhouette of the subject.

    Nikon D500, 500F4 FL, 1.4XTCIII; Exposure Time—1/1250 seconds, F – 5.6, Exposure Program—Manual control, ISO—800;

    I appreciate all the critiques. THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR VIEWING & INPUTS.

    This is absolutely beautiful and I love this. The key to songbird images is the perch and you have a killer perch here. The background is great and so is the bird and how you can see through the bottom of the tail. Colors palette is so pleasing as well. This is about my favorite backlit songbird shot that I have ever seen. Personal preference for me is to see a touch more details on the bird but it is perfectly fine this way. Congrats. That is how you turn a very common subject into a work of art.

    Killer frame. Love everything about this one. The color and the way everything just glows.

    Very nice indeed, I like the effect and the specular highlights in the background. Just a hint of the eye would perhaps enhance but very well done.

    Superb! love the perch wish takes this photo to another level. I wish for just a very slightly more room in the bottom, slightly! but that's a pesonal preference, this shot may be the winner of the month.
