Taken from my garden hide, he wasn't my intended target but I quite liked his pose, they are pretty tricky to catch - always twitching and on the go.

Good pose and excellent sharpness where you want it. I would prefer slightly less space above the head(?)

Well captured Jonathan. Been trying for one myself but too high in the tree. I like the pose and colours. Feather detail is good and the bird nice and sharp. I like the perch but would be inclined to loose the foliage below.

A simple yet beautiful subject caught in the spotlight. I love everything about this. The perch is nice but I would tone down the bright spots below rather than lose completely. TFS

Nice capture Jon...I can never get a good shot of these 'Hedge Sparrows' as they are always on the ground at set ups and rarely a nice perch. Love the detail and pose

Lovely image Jonathan! This is a very difficult bird to get a decent shot of in Sweden even though they are quite common.
I like the perch, the pose and you got some stunning details on the bird. I would also be inclined to loose the leaves on the bottom, especially the bright ones. I would like less room on the left too.

Nice pose on the bird with a neat perch. Killer background. Details look nice.
