    Default climbing up and out...

Taken in West FL last month. The laughing gulls at this shoot were quite opportunistic and would "mob" the pelican when it had its catch. This frame is the third wing position as it took off.

I absolutely love this Ann. Fantastic action, love the splashing water, the curled wings, the head angle, the extended feet. I have seen thousands of pelican images and this is about my favorite! I think if you warm this up a tiny bit it would make this even better. Since your NIK suite is not working, there are a couple ways to do it. Easiest is probably to go to IMAGE > ADJUSTMENTS > PHOTO FILTER. Then choose the WARMING FILTER 85 and adjust the opacity to what looks good. Maybe 5-7%. Other ways to warm it up also but this is a fairly easy way to go.

Thank you Isaac, I added warmth in NIK 10%, i hesitated prior bc I thought it made a reddish cast etc, ... Glad you like it. WDYT repost?

I like the warmer one more Ann being that this was shot in sunny Florida. Beautiful shot.

One of the best, if not THE best pelican shot I have ever seen. Both versions work for me, although I like the blue in the first version a bit more. Congratulations Ann!

Pretty sweet frame of this pelican. Like the take off pose and the splashing water.

This is outstanding Ann! The pose, splash, and composition are are spot on. The repost looks very pink to my me. Not sure why the frame went redder instead of yellower.....

I really like this one Ann, fantastic pose and well cropped with the splashing water. RP looks more appealing to my eye
