    Hi John, image looks "flat" to me , and i am wondering if you tamed the reds i anyway bc they look "off?" Could be sot low light, etc, ...Also wish the bottom half of the bird was more in focus.

    I think this looks pretty good, John. The light appears totally flat, so I don't mind the red as you're rendered it. It looks like you have the room/detail to push it for more pop as Ann suggested, but I don't think it has to happen.

    I really like the composition, but it would be nice to have the perch a slight bit lower. That would help with the DOF issue on the tail. Additional NR on background would help as well.
