Taken this morning. Waited nearly an hour until the morning light got over the trees and into the pond.

This is nice, colors background are superb.
Great planning to achieve a beautiful image.
Excellent colors, pose and head angle. Man you have some gorgeous light down there!!!
Sweet light Ray, and a great low shooting angle as well as the perfect bird angle.

Ray:
Very nice. As mentioned, excellent shooting angle, bird angle, lovely light.
A very subtle bird re: coloration, but the soft light allowed the texture and fine details to show nicely, adding to the quality of the image.
Were you on the shore? Lying down?
Cheers
Randy
Great light indeed Ray, POV, and happy to see you included the full reflection as it works here.
Sweet. Colors and light are wonderful; pose and HA likewise. Nice detail. I find these guys tough to get; they're always diving and re-surfacing out of range. I guess hunkering down and waiting an hour for the sun is the secret. Nicely done.
Nice work, Ray. Love the color of the background and bird. Nice feather detail and composition. Thank you for sharing.

This is nice,
I photograph them a lot and I think you did well.
Aside from the fantastic BG, the Grebe seems a bit washed out. The beak should be a bit brighter.
Excellent POV.

Beautiful image Ray. I like the pose, composition, low angle and the colors are amazing.
Very nice. Love that water and background. Nice pose and low angle as well.
Gorgeous shot, these guys are pretty high on my list to get a good shot of. I hope I can get one in light halfway as nice as this, great job Ray.
Killer everything: low angle and spectacular BKGR color. I would not mind a bit more room at the bottom.

Fantastic image Ray, great colours!! I too would like a touch more room below, but man what a killer frame! Look at that perfect head angle too....
Thank you everyone! Glad you guys loved the photo, it my first image to make it "hot" in the front page!! :)
Beautiful Colors and Plumage.
Love the low point of view.
