I had just been taking images of a kestrel hovering and the barn owl flew by, it took me a little by surprise hence the settings. (What a waste!) By the time I had corrected them the barn owl was a little distant. I'll nail it next time!
You did well to control the noise so well that ISO. I like the posture, and the sharpness is also very good. I would remove the dark spot below left of the owl, and the owl is a bit too centred in the frame for my liking, I would prefer a bit of a crop on the left.
I like this image and there was a few thing I would had changed, I did a quick process by adding noise reduction on the, adding a bit more saturation to add a bit more punch, cloned out the dark spots below the owl and crop a bit from left to move the owl a bit from the center.
