    Default Bald Eagle

Another eagle from this winter. I love watching them fly; incredible grace and power! If I remember correctly, I had a ton of light so I thought I'd experiment with very small apertures. I was pleased with the DOF in this image, although I probably could have gotten similar DOF with f/10 here.

Well, at least you got a lot of details in the snow :D

I'd probably crop some off the bottom, but then you'd loose the water. Undecided!

Like it just as is Doug. Great pose, head and flight angle to me.

    Very nice!

I like the pose and eye contact. Nice to look at all that snow since it's quite warm here. :) I guess f/8 or so would have been good enough. The composition is a little tricky with that running water.

    Hey Doug,
Even us landscape guys would have went for more speed..............but you know what???............I like the extra DOF to include the water and snow texture!

    Excellent choice of aperture Doug.
I really like this image. The eye contact is what does it for me. Very nice.

Very nice, Doug! I usually prefer a large aperture unless the surrounding habitat adds interest to the image. I think this one works either way.

Nice work, Doug. Plenty of detail throughout the image. The water is a little distracting, but not a deal breaker.
