    I captured this Mute Swan on a local loch....The BG and water was fairly dark, so I dropped the shadows slightly and added contrast to make it even darker.

    Love the white bird on the black here. The details in the whites look great.

    I love the fullness of the plumage, and separation between their layers. Awesome whites (although I'd probably tone down the very brightest ones in front of the head), and they look great against the black BG. Perfect head angle on the preening pose. Highly enjoyable image.

    What a cracker super pose and I love the contrasting elements.
    I agree tone down the brightest just a little but what a really entertaining image to look at.

    This is great William. Very dramatic, love the flared feathered and the contrast of dark and light. Would not change a thing.

    Impressive image, you did well to keep the details in the whites. In a perfect world I would have liked to have see a bit more of the face, but that's just nitpicking.
