    Image quality looks a little compromised, was this a large crop? The colours look rather heavy to me, I like the pose, I think worth having another look at the raw - maybe reduce the crop a little. WDYT?

    Nice head turn with a nice view of the fish. Wish for more room below and to the right.

    Beautiful subject and neat prey item, good look-back head turn, but I agree the fine detail looks stretched thin, likely due to large crop.

    Thanks for the comments. Not a large crop, about 75% of original frame remains. It was a very dull day and I probably pushed the contrast and saturation too much in order to get some life into the subject. Could have added some canvas bottom and right to balance the subject better.

    This is looking good David. I seen it on my laptop earlier, and I thought the IQ was good. Now looking at it on the big screen, I must agree with your self critique, too much contrast/sat...But I reckon if you re processed you would have a very nice image. Good work
