I love it Dan. Background color and no distractions.

Well caught DOF appears a tad minimal and the image seems to be a little noisy. I do like the colour palette though - a very striking image.

Great landing pose. Love the pink background. The head is sharp. Looks noisy on my monitor - is this a big crop?

    Thanks for the comments..
David, no it is a small crop, underexposed bird.
The Duck flew into full shade from sun. I loved the pose so I worked at saving it.
It was not that badly exposed, I was using auto iso which I am trying on the D500,
I think it probably worked better than manual in this instance.
I am just starting to shoot BIF, really as the D500 makes it kind of easy...
I am hoping someone like Arash weighs in,
someone with better PP skills could do much better.

Love the background color on this one. The pose on the bird is neat. Wish for more room below.

    Background colors really look nice.

I try to brighten the image more. I see lots of noise on the bird as well. I think due to increasing shadows etc

What a dynamic pose, and fun too! Sweet BG and pastel colours. The repost is much better in regards to noise.

I really like this...The BG colours are awesome, and flight pose, detail on the bird look good. Repost better.
