    Nice sharp focus on the eyes, I like the shallow DoF. Colors are great, I like the mottled light.

    The soft, rich light really complements the red tones. Lovely frame, and tack sharp where it matters.

    Hi Eric .... nice location , always worth a visit for this kinda shots .

    Portrait does work well as presented in terms of comp , head on and the look into the camera .

    Personally i think the colors are a bit overcooked , the blacks are a wee bit heavy ....and maybe a fraction oversharp . Well just my thinking .....not saying i am right , matter of taste at times.

    Nice portrait with very nice details. This would have made a nice vertical.

    Nice light and portrait indeed!
    I agree with Andreas, you can back down on the contrast and the density of the black tones.
    I also would have liked a tad more DOF, the snout being OOF does distract for me: f8 would have been good?
