    My first post.Shot early in the AM, Canon rebel, AP, 1/1250, F11, ISO 800
    400mm f5.6 at 400mm

    Big Warm Welcome Terry !!!!!

    Made the image in good light, exposure looks good and I like the framing. Glad you included the entire reflection Would suggest placing the bird on the other side of the frame. Normally we like to see less room behind and more up front, gives space for the bird to look into.

    Might also consider posting at the max 800 Will be easier to evaluate !!! Looking forward to many more !!!!

    Thanks for the feedback, Alfred. I debated about placing the bird more to the right rather than center, but because of the long picture including reflection, some how I decided to center. But as you suggested, probably should have given him more space to look into. Thanks.

    Welcome to BPN. I agree with Alfred suggestions and comments; moving the bird and reflection up and to the right will also reduce the amount of grass that seems to a bit distracting to me right now.
