    Default Tundra Swan Landing

    I made this image in Bear River Migratory Refuge couple of weeks back.


    Nikon D500, 600 f/4 + 1.4x TCIII
    1/5000 sec; f/5.6; ISO 320
    Manual; Matrix metering

    Post processing:-

    I removed out of focus swans at top left corner.
    Nik Filters
    Dodging
    Neat Image Noise Reduction
    C1P for Raw Conversion

    Krishna nice capture love the open wings.Too bad about the shadow caused by the wing. Some softer light would have been better.

    Hi Krishna, what a superb image! For me everything is there, the soft light, dramatic, angelic posture, smooth background, and tack sharp. Well done

    Very nice pose...I really like the whites on the bird. The ice on the water adds to the image.

    You nailed the pose are there are some nice details in the whites. Nice one.

    Lovely shot Krisha, beautiful light (shadow is unfortunate but a long way from being a deal breaker), great wing position and the timing on the landing is spot on

    Hi Krishna, beautiful bird, nicely shown. I like the pose of the bird landing, but maybe taking off, not sure. I think you can do better on the whites on the under wings. On my display there is quite a bit of grey, maybe for reducing highlights too much. Thank you for sharing.
