    Hi John -- Very nice details here, and a nice tight portrait. The light looks bit strong but you have done quite well in handling it. I would have liked a bit more separation from the BKG but nothing you could have done abt it .

    Hi John , nice portrait and you did quite well with the exp and have lots of details .
    I might reduce the blacks and open the mid tones slightly ...

    Nice one John,I agree the darkest blacks looka little dense. If you felt inclined you could select the background and reduce saturation and contrast just a little to make the bear stand out a little more.
