    I have never tried this before. I had a series of images of a gannet raising its head to sky-point, from Bonaventure I., two weeks ago. Here I have merged them using Multiply in Ps. Hope you like it.

    40D, 500 mm f4
    capture date: Sunday, 15 June, 2008
    exposure program: Manual, +2 off grey sky
    ISO speed: 400
    shutter speed: 1/1000
    aperture: f8.0
    exposure bias: +0.0
    metering: Pattern
    flash: ON, beamer, -2/3

    I do like it but I have to tell you - I thought it was the underneath side of a snake head at first. I think it's a beautiful abstract now that I've really looked it over and wonder what made you decide to stop at three? Was it just what you had or did that number of eyes just seem "right?'

    Hi Jules- Not sure as I did have more of the same sequence! Vertical crops like this don't show well on short, wide monitors and then I went down to 700 pixels high to try to make sure it was visible as a single piece. More images would have made it even taller.
