I liked the BG on this image, along with the fanned tail, sure wish i had stopped those wings. Bird was flying into the golden cornfield below...

I really like the pose and dont mind the blurred wing tips . Was this a crop ? It doesn't seem to have as much detail as your shots usually do. Also I am pretty sure that is a blue goose.

Frozen wings would certainly been better but I would be very happy with this.
A lot to like, the detail seems fine, the pose is good and the light and BG is exceptional.
    I give it 3 1/2 out of 5 stars...

Terrific pose and great background. I don't mind the wing blur, but might try just a tad more sharpening on the head. A Blue Goose is a Dark-morph Snow Goose, to the best of my knowledge.

Love the Background and Postion of the bird in the frame. Wish for better wing position. I don’t Mind the motion blur in the wing tip.

Lovely colours and composition Ann, I like the image.... but the head isn't quite sharp enough, I am unsure if the focus is spot on or perhaps there is a little subject movement?? I suspect the latter, I too think not quite as much detail as some of your other images.

I like an amount of blur in the wing tips as long as the face is sharp, so this works well for me. Nice colours and BD, good to have a clear view of the head

I don't mind the wing blur just wish the near wing was in a better position. I like the flight angle and that sweet BG. Nice image Ann.

Like the two toned background and the pose on the bird. Wish the bird was higher in the frame.

This is really nice Ann. Love the wing position and the 2 toned BG.
Do you have more room on the bottom?
Yes to another round of sharpening on the head.

I like the dynamic pose bit the image looks soft to my eye, especially the head.
