    Taken last April at the ball field in Cape Coral. With the nasty weather we are having I wish I was there right now lol.
    I sat on the ground behind my tripod and inched slowly forward and got as close as I could.
    converted in dpp then applied nik detail extractor ans selective sharpening on the bird ,neat image on the background .Cropped for presentation .

    Very nice and I like that the DOF is a bit limited. Focus where it needs to be for me.
    A lot of detail in that face...

    Wonderful feather detail around the eyes. The eyes themselves are beautiful. DOF falloff helps to accentuate the face and head. TFS
