I was at the rookery in Gatorland in Orlando, Florida. I watched Cormorants bring sticks to the nest passing them on to another to be placed carefully forming the nest. Most of the nests and flights of the birds were contrary to the early morning light angle. A observation I found interesting is that the birds would fly offsite to get the twigs/sticks, all seeming to go the the same place, where I do not know. There was one nest I noticed that presented a good light angle on the returning bird. This image is from that opportunity. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.
