    Default Golden INKWE !

Hello everyone, thank you for all your comments and suggestions to my previous post , as always much appreciated .

This is another Leopard image , the same leopardess that I posted previously. She was walking on the track and I had the opportunity to position the vehicle with the light but i liked the colours of the late afternoon sun and the dust from the vehicles was actually adding to the scene and colours of the light, hence, decided to shoot against the light and for a brief moment the leopardess stopped and made an eye contact before she changed the direction.

DPP 4.8, PSCC 2019 v 20, WB, curves , colour balance, selective colour, NR, sharpening , cropped from top and bottom and slightly cloned out a vehicle in the bkg.

Canon 1DX MK II, Canon 200-400mm @ 560mm, Bean Bag.

    ss 1/1250, iso 2500, f/5.6

Looking forward for all your comments and suggestions be it of any nature.

    Hello Haseeb,

This is a winner in my books, and for a number of reasons: framing is great and POV is superb, I really like the eye contact and expression. Love the colours, the light is truly golden and creates this dreamlike atmosphere. Everything just works here and those elements come together so nicely, I cannot take my eyes of this frame.

All I can suggest is that you try create more depth, you already did to some extent but I still feel that more can be done to this image, subtle touches Haseeb. This is one very precious image and it will stay with me for some time, I would be very pleased to have it in my folders.
Congratulations from me - I really enjoyed viewing this tonight

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea

Totally agree with Gabriela's assessment here Haseeb, the "heads up" look on this feline is also what makes this for me. Nicely seen.

Haseeb these leopard shots are brilliant! Absolutely riveting viewing for me! I like this image just as it is, the yellow lighting really adds atmosphere. I wonder if there was a little separation of subject to surroundings, would it help or not? I have a rather crude alternative for your consideration WDYT? If you don't think it helps at all, that's just fine - just an idea I had

Thank you Gabriela, Marc and Jon for kind words of appreciation.
@ Jon: nice Rp with some more separation and another version to consider upon.

@ Gabriela , I will try some curve adjustments selectively for some more depth, it could definitely be achieved .

Nice you caught the leopard right on the trail. Makes a nice leading line. The light is sweet. Nice job.

Hi Haseeb, this looks wonderful, the light, the low POV and eye contact all work rather well. The golden grasses and the curious look really make this frame a nice one. Well done with good PP work.
    Cheers

Hi Haseeb - Love the pose and the late afternoon light. Agree about trying to create some more depth. This is a beautiful image and well worth the time.

As said - this is a special image that has many differant factors going for it !! However it is the very obvious connection between leopard and viewer that is the highlight for me. Also think that the 200-400 Canon with the extender on and at Iso 2500 has performed brilliantly. I have not had such good results at similar settings

@ Basil -- I really am enjoying this piece of glass , it is producing some lovely results for me even when the TC is engaged. What issues are you facing ?
