    Perched on my front railing but not attracted there, it was just visiting.
    1DXII 400mm F/2.8L II & 2XIII 800 mm 1/1250 f5.6 iso1600 +0.7 ev HH
    About 50% crop in PS S&H and increased exposure a little because it was mostly backlit. Light sharpen
    Of course that was meant to be a theme shot!

    I like the bills of these guys, and the detail looks good. I know it is a reflection of the scene, but the shape of the catchlight detracts for me.

    What I see looks fine but the bird is way to small in the frame as there is way too much negative space ... Simply put, you needed to get closer to create an effective image.

    Neat looking bill. I like the name butcher bird. The high treatment looks pretty nice.
