As I visit Wako now, I am struck by the difference from 10 years ago. Then, not a single wood stork in sight and the species endangered. Now, they are everywhere and upgraded to threatened. Almost crowding out the GBH and other species nesting now. Very challenging to get clean views, but as a grandfather I will take this any day over the thought of these fascinating beauties no longer walking on this earth.
