Another very nice image John. Nice details and the dark bkg is isolating the face but at the same time the ears are getting mixed in it, would have liked some separation for the same.
    Nicely framed .

    TFS !

Hi John ... a lovely portrait in wintery ? conditions .
Lovely light and warmth in the fur and the shadowy coolness
Nice details , color and tone ... i would still drop the blacks a tiny bit .

Nice work in the field John, well exposed and pose is superb! Love the framing. Nice techs, DoF is spot-on.

I echo Haseeb and Andreas's comments regarding blacks though, the L ear of the subject is "melting" into the BG and it would be good if its outline was visible.
Beautiful detail and lovely rich tones, very nice PP work. I really enjoyed viewing

    Kind regards,

Really good portrait - I like the richness of the darks, which gives a full range of tones.
