Something from our last foray to a special place (Ahem, Andreas!).
Coming up to the only tree for 30 miles in every direction only to find a black rhino seeking shelter from the summer sun: winner winner chicken dinner!

Love it Morkel! It just oozes the heat of an African summer midday. The tree, the rhino, the grass, the white sky, the endless horizon...splendid!

One of your recent best Morkel

Chris has summed this up well, it speaks volumes, wonderful HK treatment of this mono semi-desert scape.

This works very well. The rhino is in the perfect spot. Like the tree as well.

One of the better HK images I have seen - how wonderfully it manages to tell a story that a normal exposure just could not have done !!

Love the conversion here Morkel, helps to portray the scene so well. Nice thinking in terms of composition too.

Such a treat to see a rhino whose horn has not been removed. A very special image of a species such close to my heart - thank you for sharing

    Kind regards,

I like it a lot...Only question..but could be I wrong. The rhino is more strong than the tree; could better more detail about trunks ?
