Nice detail of the guar. The background is nice. Also like the composition.

Hi Doc -- Nice to see you posting again. Seems like a Bull with some battle scars which is evident from its horn.
I think you have exposed it quite well considering the bright bkg and the dark tones of your subject. There is some noise in the fur and the finer details are lacking IMO. Framing looks fine to me but I am 50-50 on the leaves in the FG.
Keep them coming.

Hello Sanjeev,
I agree with Haseeb, not always easy to expose a dark subject against a bright BG but you did pretty well. Did you use Matrix metering? Or rather "evaluative metering" in Canon language?
Good tonal range here, I like the various colours on the Gaur. Wondering whether you had to lift the blacks/shadows on the L eye which might have caused a degree of noise.
Not so sure about the vegetation in the FG, it tends to draw the eye. Composition works for me but if the IQ holds I would go even closer.
Would really like to see an image with the entire animal in the frame, have you got any? Happy to see you back as we have missed your posts and comments
Kind regards,

Hi Sanjeev, I think you did well being backlit, but wonder if the image was under exposed. Good detail overall.
