    Default Saddleback Dolphins

Photographed while on a pelagic trip about 100 miles southeast of Cape Cod. I'm glad I brought a spare camera with shorter lens. In this area we saw hundreds of these dolphins who put on a great show for us.

    Hi Axel,
It would have been better if the dolphin were on the other side of the boat for a more ideal lighting situation but you handled the shadow side of the dolphin extremely well. The action captured of one in the air.........the other jusrt diving.........is very good and offers a nice contrast. considering the boat movement and the fact that you could not contol light angle.........about as good technique as you could have hoped for. Must have been very exciting seeing all this!

I like the composition and blueness of the water.

Very nice action here and the water is great. Just a litttle more room on the top of the frame would help. Fine image....
