I like this one John, I like the ambience, boy it must have been cold. Focus looks good, it can sometimes get thrown by falling snow, I also like the low angle, well done. Is it difficult to get close to these deer - do you have to hide behind trees or are they used to humans, I am guessing this is in wild woodland??

Great feel to this image. I like that you can see enough detail in the OOF background to give context.

    Hello John,

I like this too, like the movement, inquisitive pose from the subject, also the environment. Makes me think of a postcard, or a picture in a story book

Nice to see some detail in the snow (FG). Colours look natural. I would have liked a bit more space at the bottom though.

It must be cold out there... Me thinking my hands would be shaking, the weight of the camera not a big issue but the temperature...brrrr

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea

Looking good...You have captured a real nice winter scene, with the legs deep down in the snow. Nice POV with good detail. The BG of trees look nice.

    No. They are pretty tame.
