    A Crested Tern just rolling over for the dive, just on sunset. These birds are such good BIF practice because they are so erratic, one second level flight and the next they flip. I've yet to master following them to the water and out again.

    Great pose but image quality looks suspect at best. Is this another very large crop?

    Beautiful spread wing pose, but fine detail is severely lacking, probably from a very heavy crop.

    Thanks, yes a large crop (17% of original size). I think I will change to the new 600 f4 III as I can't get snappy enough AF with a 1.4x or 2x on the 400.
