Hi David I like this very handsome woodstork, or very pretty, ok well pretty handsome! Lovely details in those whites, BG is sweet. The grays/darks look to me they could be more and so try adding a few points of black there... Also, a bit more NR in the BG. A very wise eye captures me. I long to be at Wakodahatchee and GreenCay... Enjoy.

Very nice portrait and the whites look good.
If mine. I would soften the line of the OOF tree on the right but otherwise no nits from me,

Hi David, beautiful bird, nice portrait. I've photographed these many times closeup like this. On my display the image appears thin, a tad washed out. I think there is more you can do in post processing that would make this better and a striking image. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks to all for helpful suggestions and comments. Yes, Ann, Wako especially is wonderful right now and not even so much for the photo ops. Seeing the Wood Storks doing so well is very hopeful. Thanks again.
    Peace,
    David

Yes, the WHITEs look very bright. I love the detail on the head, face, and bill. You might try a crop to 3X2 from just behind the bird's head ...
