Hello everyone . Thank you for all your comments and suggestions to my previous post, as always much appreciated.
Here is another Tiger image for this months theme. A young tigress who is trying to make her own territory and also in search of a mate to raise a litter. She is part of a small range on the outskirts of Tadoba , where already two big tigresses are raising their litters of 3 cubs each . So there is a constant threat to her and hence she keeps moving in a certain radius trying to avoid the conflict, but ultimately because of the space constraints and challenge from cubs of the other two tigress it might come down to a showdown anytime soon.
DPP 4.8, PSCC 2019, WB, curves, levels, colour balance, selective colour , cropped from left hand side and bottom for a tighter frame ( nearly 40% crop), sharpening .
Canon 1DX MKII, Canon 500mm f4 IS II, bean bag.
ss 1/1600, f/5.6, iso 2500.
Looking forward for all your comments and suggestions .
Lovely look in your direction. Just enough DOF for the head to be in focus. Tails off a little towards the ears but not an issue for me. If I was to be hyper critical I would wish for both ears facing you but I know nature does not always play ball. Nice Haseeb.

I just wondered on first viewing if there was too much body, but I think the frame works. Techs look good and I'm glad to see the 1.4 wasn't added here. The DoF and compression of the 500 has created a cool backdrop too. Did you lighten the mouth? Just a thought, but I wonder if a minus of a third of a stop might just add a fraction more tone and magically help the whites????
Nicely processed, is this with an update, drop me a line? BTW there is an update or PSCC 2019.
This is such a treat, wonderful capture of this tigress and such lovely pose, great eye contact and nice POV.
Like Steve, at first I wondered why you included so much of the subject's body but eventually came to conclusion that in this instance it actually works. Not only it helps balance the frame nicely, but also gives us an idea of the size of this species...which is very impressive, by the way.
Colours are absolutely gorgeous and BG is great, lovely detail on the subject's face - nice PP work Good work in the field too, techs are spot-on and image is well exposed. Many thanks for sharing, wow, I really enjoyed viewing this tonight
Beautiful! I like the colours and the even lighting, the face is well rendered. My immediate criticism is the crop, I would personally not have included half a back, i think the crop would be better around the shoulder or alternatively showing the complete animal. I am really impressed with colours and the details in the darker areas. Hope to see more soon!!
Very nice indeed..the detail and colours on the head are really good. Looks like the exposure was spot on. I would have liked to see it cropped a little tighter, very nice as is though. Well done.
