Good pose and BG. Nice details and I like that we can see the red feathers. IQ looks good at ISO, perhaps a touch more NR on the BG. Good look at the feet too. TFS

Superb set up John! Wonderful light, great BG, and good composition. The bird looks good, if I was beeing picky I would ask for a slight head turn and maybe to brighten the blacks on the tail and wing just a tiny bit. Some NR to the BG as mentioned.

I like the perch, BG, composition and pose. If the male turns his head too much you don't get the best view of the red patch. Nice image John.

Sharp with a perfect EXP. Perch tree is either too big or too small .... Was this at a set-up?
