Actually, a yawn, not a call at all. Gail and I had a great time with a mated pair of parasitic jaegers in Iceland. One was on the nest nearby and the mate enjoyed our company as it would come in closer and closer and really just hangout... I love the perch for interest and the soft BG.

What a view of that mouth. The moss covered rock perch is nice as well. Great background as well.

This is awesome. Great BG, mossy perch, and pose with the open mouth. Love the colors. No nits from me. TFS

I also love the perch! The vertical crop works very well. Nice pose, great details and BG.

Wonderful capture, Ann. Love the yawn and all the interior details. How nice it was that he posed so close for you. Beautiful light and great perch.

Hi Ann, your vertical comp works well, and well timed for the yawn -we can just about see his tonsils. I do like the sharp detail of the open beak, and good plumage detail showing up too. The lichen covered rock adds interest, and love the colours of the BG.

Ditto all the accolades above. Me thinks that opening up the face a bit might improve this excellent image. Cut off the head and I would be thinking immature Heerman's Gull ...

This is sick Ann! Do not know how I missed this one. Love the perch and the dark morph jaeger is so cool. Do not know how you could make this better.
