The "Grey Ghost" continues in his favorite, near to me grassland. What a great experience this is. C&C welcome.

I like the composition and the background. The yellow eye is nice.

nice image Geoff, the BG and light were both nice. I do wish for better eye contact from the harrier though.

Nice light, BG, and pose. Great look at the talons too. Yes to a slightly better head angle. This spot seems to be really active lately. TFS

Excellent image Geoffrey. I like the setting, sharpness, composition and I don't mind the HA because he is intent on hunting.

Thank you everyone. I've been going to this location almost every day for the past week, sun with strong wind gusts, overcast, and hopefully snow soon.

Hey Geoffrey..This is probably the best frame I have seen posted by you recently. The bird sure pops against that BG. Lovely details and I like the 'hunting' HA. Very well captured.

    Excellent Geoffrey.
    IQ looks good, great BG.
Just a bit more of a head turn would be killer but I would still be thrilled with this frame,

Sharp and well exposed with the bird positioned perfectly in the frame. I have zero on this species let alone the male. Yes to a slightly better head position with a bit more eye contact. I would be remiss if I did not say that the wings fully raised would have been better and that I am not a big fan of the BKGR as the light areas (seed heads and stalks?) distract. I do love the great look at the chevrons on the sides of the breast, the flanks, and the tertials.
