    great image and pose. very sharp head. Nice colors. I lover the head on pose.

    The image looks rather heavy to me David - contrast and sharpening look very heavy - have you done anything different? The whiskers on the head aren't as black/dense as that in real life and I recognise the flower head I have it around my garden pond - it looks very dense indeed. Have you lowered the blacks ??

    I like the head-on pose David, but I agree with Jon that the sharpening and contrast look overdone to me. Was this a heavy crop?
