    Here is another frame of a young female harrier, despite her age, her talons are sharp and strong. don't want to be on the receiving end


    shot with D850 and 600E FL + TC14E-III. ISO 1000 f.5,6 at 1/3200sec hand held. processed with capture one pro

    Hi Ari, great flight pose, and good to see the various colours on her, despite being a female. I like the show of the primaries on the near wing. Another killer BG.

    Beautiful Image. Love the colors. I feel that the NR was on the bird is a bit too much..

    Hi Krishna, no NR on the bird, that's how a juvenile looks like. hope you see one soon. They are tough to find where you are....

    Another great capture Arash. Good flight angle towards the lens, good wing position and a great complimentary background. On my monitor I am detecting a very slight blue tinge on the far wing blacks.

    Excellent wing position caught here, Arash. Like the tilt of the tail also. Lovely background with a hint of tall grasses.

    Thank you for the info. I have not seen then in the wild and hence I might be mistaken.

    Great look at the claws and a nice pose. Good BG and perfect catchlight. I like the banking tail as well. TFS

    Outstanding as noted by all above. As expected. Do the undersides of the secondary feathers always look so much darker than the undersides of the primaries? it does not seem possible that the inner half of the wing is shaded.

    Hey Artie yes that juveniles look like that as they age all the feathers lighten up....
