    Nice perch, pose, and detail. I like the face this one is giving you. I would try to tone down the light bit behind the head of the cardinal. Minor tweak but it does draw my eye. TFS

    pretty cool look back, nice colors that stand out against the pale BG. I like the moss on the perch. BG can use some NR.

    Hi John, great eye contact, and love the raided crest - looks like a hat. Good feather detail showing up, and the Cardinal certainly pops against the grey BG.

    Hi John, Ive been enjoying your back yard set ups, well done. Perch and head on capture are terrific. I notice the eye is shaped differently, perhaps a wink!

    Neat down the lens barrel stare. The REDs are toasted. Try adding 40-90 points of CYAN to th REDs in Selective Color as detailed in Digital Basics II and mentioned often here and on the blog ...
