    Dear John,

Another lovely image of White-tail Buck, thank you for sharing!

Techs look good to me yet I find the image overall a little underexposed, also a faint blue cast creeping in on the nose, eye, and back.

DoF works well here, also good thinking on framing. If you want to (and your ethics permit) you could clone out those grasses in the FG for a cleaner look.

Love that light slightly touching the subject, makes me think it all happened in the early hours of the morning

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea

Still a little contrasting but if you compare to your previous post you will see the point I am making regarding contrast.

John, it would be very useful to just quickly outline you Workflow so we may be able to help you, as your images are still having the same repeated issues. Doesn't have to be too detailed, or just screen grabs of the LR modules as I'm sure it's an easy fix.

You can email if you would prefer rather than going off Topic and hi jacking the thread.

    Steve

Hi John a nice solid portrait , well handled lighting and the grass in the mouth is a nice addition .

You have got some good advice above , in which i do agree .

Seems you have endless options at that location .

    TFS Andreas
