This was taken at my backyard set up. I was in position for the woodpecker part of my set up so this branch wasn't in position for a good BG, which resulted in this high key image. I will try this weekend to get a better image. It was a very windy overcast day. Hope you enjoy the image.

Hi Jim, I like the forward leaning pose, and good plumage detail and colour showing up. I also like your high key finish. In a perfect world, there should be more space below for him to be looking into, but I see there is a branch that would be maybe spoiling the lower part of the image.

I like the position on a horizontal branch (as opposed to the usual vertical trunk pose we see).He also has a nice inquisitive pose.
I am not keen on the high key but I never am!
I look forward to your results from this upcoming weekend!

Very Nice Image. Like the High Key Look.

I do see a dust spot on the left hand side, which could easily be cleaned.

Always like a good high key frame. This is quite nice. Like the pose on the bird and the perch.

Thanks everyone for the comments and suggestions. Here is a repost with a little more canvas added on the bottom, lower branch removed and dust spot cloned out.
